Scope of these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and any inspection enquiry submitted through it. Terms applying to a specific inspection are agreed directly in writing before the inspection takes place.

Enquiries and booking

Submitting the form or contacting us is a request, not a confirmed booking. A booking exists only once the scope, date and conditions have been confirmed directly between both parties.

Scope and limitations of inspections

• Inspections are non-invasive and cover only accessible areas and systems that can be safely inspected and tested at the time of the visit.
• No destructive testing is carried out.
• No structural, architectural or engineering certification is issued and no legal advice is given.
• No guarantee is given that every defect, including hidden defects, will be discovered.
• Specialist investigation by an appropriately qualified professional is recommended where a condition indicates it.
• A report reflects the condition observed on the day of the inspection only.

Use of reports

Reports are prepared for the client who commissioned the inspection. They may be shared with a seller, agent, developer, builder or contractor, but they do not determine contractual or legal liability between those parties.

Liability

Liability terms, insurance details and any applicable limitations will be confirmed in the written service agreement once the company is established. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
